The Panasonic Eluga is an Android phone which is expected to make its presence at the manufacturer’s booth in Barcelona next week, as part of the Japanese company’s plan to invade the European market. However, the Eluga will not be the only device Panasonic is planning to show off; according to recent reports, there will be one more: a premium phone this time.
The so far unnamed device will feature a screen based on a new Panasonic technology and a dual-core processor to help Android operate as smoothly as possible (though we’re preparing to enter the quad-core era). As far as imaging is concerned, Panasonic will bring its Lumix technology for cameras to the phone — in a move similar to Sony and its Exmor-R backlit sensor. If the rumors turn out to be true, we’ll tell you all about the phone once we’re in Barcelona.
