Panasonic, a brand not typically associated with high-tech gadgetry (they make great bathroom exhaust fans!) has taken the wraps off of their Eluga Power tabphone, a device that has a 5.0″ 720p display (though part of that screen is utilized by software Android buttons) and a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 CPU running on Android 4.0. Even with such a large display the Eluga Power is a svelte 9.6mm thick (which is essentially the same thickness as the Galaxy Note). The 1,800mAh battery of the device can be charged all the way to the 50% mark within just 30 minutes, which is pretty impressive. You get 8GB of storage on board, which is expandable with microSD.
