Brandon shared Google’s Chrome to Phone app and associated browser plugin with us back in May, with links to how to get the un-official release. Today they are now available with Google’s blessing.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Chrome to Phone, it’s one of those “why didn’t I think of that” apps. Have you ever wanted to send a link or other information from your computer, right to your phone? With the Chrome to Phone browser extension (available for Chrome and Firefox) you can essentially pair your Android 2.2+ phone with your web browser on your computer, and with the click of a button send the current web page, map, YouTube video, or highlighted phone number or text directly to your Android device.
Chrome to Phone, the app, is available free in the Market. Chrome to Phone, the browser plugin is available free in both the Firefox and Chrome extension galleries.
