Sad news for those who wish to buy a Dell Streak in the US straight from Dell without having to sign a contract to obtain AT&T subsidies. Unfortunately, the $550 asking price for the Streak, to be offered tomorrow, for users who are hoping to hop to T-Mobile or want to take the Streak abroad with a pre-paid SIM option, will not accommodate non-AT&T SIM cards. Of course, now that the US government has approved unlocking for phones, you can venture out and find a third-party unlocking solution and do just that.
