May 1 might be the date the Samsung Galaxy S II comes to the UK but the same smartphone is up on pre-order in Korea with KT and it’s packing Olleh Touch support — a payment system being implemented at local grocer Lotte Mart.

The Korean Samsung Galaxy S II is everything you’d expect from your Galaxy S II. Count in the 1.2GHz processor, Super AMOLED Plus display and all the goodies, plus 0.41mm in thickness (to a total of 8.9mm). The fourth Galaxy S II ad emphasizing on the thickness of the smartphone had a note saying that the advertised 8.49mm thin device might be thicker in some regions, depending on country and carrier. Well, the KT Galaxy S II is thicker and it’s mainly because of the addition of Olleh Touch support via NFC.
