An anonymous HTC representative reportedly told Bright Side of News that the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer is working on an NFC-enabled smartphone which might be released in the third quarter of the year.
HTC launched the HTC Sensation at the middle of April and the new NFC-enabled smartphone “should be positioned slightly above the recently announced HTC Sensation”. It will also purportedly sport a 4.3-inch screen and we’re guessing qHD will be the resolution.
No other details have been made public but we’ve recently seen two HTC smartphones being leaked, the Rider and the Kingdom. There’s a lot of time until Q3 and given HTC’s habit of releasing lots of smartphone models, it might be neither of these. NFC is a new trend but if NFC support is the only thing this smartphone will bring, would you buy?
