Nexus S or Galaxy S refresh aside, looks like Samsung is preparing another smartphone as it just passed DLNA certification. As we demonstrated in our LG Optimus 7 DLNA demo, the technology allows media playback wirelessly from your handset to other devices wirelessly.
Little is known about the Samsung SHW-M190S but what we do know comes from DLNA’s system as the device was certified on November 23, 2010. The handset runs Android 2.2 Froyo and it is registered as a Portable Media Device with a 4-inch WVGA (800 x 480) AMOLED screen, with WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth version 3, 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus and aGPS. There’s no word on pricing and availability but is rumored to arrive to South Korea’s SKT network.
