Rhapsody online music subscription service has released an Android application that brings a long waited feature to the table: offline playback of downloaded tracks.
Regardless if you’re without service or just in airplane mode, you can now enjoy the content you’ve downloaded on your Android smartphone similar to the iPhone version and you might remember BlackBerry users recently received a Rhapsody application — but so far, offline playback is only supported on Android and BlackBerry. If you are a subscriber and want to take advantage of the offline playback capability of the Android application, go to the Rhapsody website using your smartphone, downlaod it from the Android Market, via GetJar or iTunes (if you are an iPhone user).
