A new screenshot of a Verizon Wireless document shows the launch date of the Samsung Fascinate to be on September 8th, a day earlier than the previous rumor that had pegged the launch on the 9th. It may be that the Fascinate may be available for order a day earlier, either via a reservation system, online order, or through tele-sales on the 8th, and be available in-stores on the 9th. Either way, it looks like Galaxy S variant will be headed to Verizon Wireless soon.
The Galaxy S represents a successful product roll-out for Samsung, which has committed to increasing its market share in the smartphone space. Samsung has shipped over 1 million Galaxy S series devices in the United States since T-Mobile had first launched the Vibrant variant. The Fascinate will round out the Galaxy S efforts in the United States where Verizon Wireless will be the largest of the U.S. carriers to finally offer the device and be the last of the major fourth to launch its variant.
