We keep getting teased with news that Netflix streaming is coming to Android, albeit with restrictions and hardware limitations. Today the .APK file to install what’s presumed to be a working release of the Netflix for Android app has been leaked. You can grab your copy and try it out here (2.8MB .apk).

I was able to install the app, login to my account, see what’s in my queue, as well as do some basic queue management. When I tried to stream a title I got an error stating:

“Sorry we could not reach the Netflix service. Please try again later. If the problem persists please visit netflix.com. (1005)”

I’m not alone. No one else has reportedly been able to stream any content either. If you’re able to do so, please let us know in the comments! Include what phone and version of Android you’re using!
