Back in July, we’ve seen the leaked T-Mobile USA Roadmap which, besides two Android powered Motorola phones was mentioning the “Project Emerald” for November. Then we were presented with a leaked image of the successor to the myTouch 3G, also mentioned for T-Mobile and we could only guess upon the authenticity of the picture and we placed our money on HTC since T-Mobile has reserved the name myTouch for the Android devices produced by the Taiwanese manufacturer.
Even more rumors around the device were leading us into believing the myTouch HD will sport a front facing camera but today, another piece of the puzzle – maybe the most important one – falls into place as an anonymous – but trusted – tipster unveiled information according to which the myTouch HD, manufactured by HTC, will be launched on T-Mobile on November 3, 2010.
Now, this falls pretty nice into place correlated with the leaked roadmap and the beginning of November seems a good time to launch an Android powered product since it will (hopefully) be after the launch of the highly expected Windows Phone 7 – remember AT&T as a premium partner here – so Android on one hand shouldn’t wait too long for such a device release, especially with the new Sense Expresso being rumored to be on it and on the other hand, it would take customers not wanting to go the Windows Phone 7 direction.
