The Sony Xperia S was indeed launched at this year’s CES but we’ve managed to finally get our hands-on with the device here in Barcelona, half way around the world.
The Xperia S features a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch 720p screen with Reality Display technology, a huge 12-megapixel camera with mobile-Exmor R backlit sensor, and a 720p-capable front-facing webcam. Also on-board is NFC support, HDMI-out, and 32GB of internal flash storage. One could really say that the Xperia S is really the AT&T Sony Xperia Ion but the 12-megapixel camera should be capable of producing excellent stills.
