Sony (sans Ericsson) has just unveiled a couple of smartphones at today’s Barcelona Press Event and the Xperia P is one of them. We had the chance to take a closer look at the phone and we really liked the build quality and the direction the company is taking design-wise, especially the unibody aluminum design.
While the Xperia P is a lot like the AT&T Sony Xperia Ion, it packs a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 4.0-inch FWVGA display, NFC and HDMI connectivity. The Xperia P is running Android 2.3 Gingerbread but should be upgradable to Ice Cream Sandwich shortly.
