If you’ve got a Motorola CLIQ or Backflip and have been feeling a little left out because your phones don’t have mutlitouch support, with a little hackery, now you can have multitouch, too!

cbmixx, a developer from China, got his hands on the touchscreen driver from the CLIQ XT and made some modifications to make it work on the CLIQ, finally bringing multitouch capabilities to the phone.

Shortly after that mod was released, J_r0dd, another developer, released custom ROMS for both the CLIQ and BackFlip which included cbmixx‘s modification.
