The Droid Bionic is joining the Atrix 4G and the Droid RAZR in getting a soak test, according to recent reports. While there are no indications of what the soak test ROM will contain, there seem to be two major opinions: Ice Cream Sandwich or just a bugfix and performance improvement refresh.

Motorola is planning on updating some of its devices to Ice Cream Sandwich and, while the Droid Bionic might get its Android 4.0 treat, we tend to believe that it will be just after the Droid RAZR gets ICS, and that didn’t happen yet. So what could the soak test refer to? We’ve heard reports of a 5.9.902 update recently and this soak test might be closely related.
