Motorola’s latest advertisement is taking another subtle hit against Apple’s iPhone and iOS platform by leveraging the advantage of Adobe Flash support in its choice of Android platform for devices like the Motorola Droid 2. Motorola has been making subtle jabs at Apple in its ad campaigns; the last ad taken by Motorola poked fun at the iPhone’s reception issues.
In this current ad, Motorola uses a similar tone to Apple’s “There’s an app for that campaign.” The company asks, “Flash websites?” and then notes that “There is a phone for that” and shows a picture of its Droid 2 handset with a sliding keyboard, another feature that the iPhone lacks.
