Having the business user in mind, Motorola announced the Droid Pro for Verizon back in November last year and today the manufacturer introduces the phone as the Motorola Pro in France.
Aside from the Verizon branding, or lack of it, the Motorola Pro sports an AZERTY keyboard instead of a QWERTY one. The rest of the specs seem familiar as the phone sports a 3.1-inch touch screen with HVGA resolution, 1GHz CPU, 4GB of memory, five-megapixel camera with auto focus and dual LED flash, powered unfortunately by Google’s Android 2.2 Froyo mobile platform.
The Motorola Droid will be available on the French carrier SFR for around 299 (without contract), translating to around $420. The global radio on the phone ensures proper compatibility with a vast number of carriers so if you’re in France and need a business smartphone the Motorola Pro is for you.
