The Motorola Droid X2 is rumored to be released soon, on May 26 and to back that up, Motorola’s website is now featuring a product support page for the smartphone. As far as pricing is concerned, we heard it will go for $199.99 on contract but how much will it cost without one?
According to the image above, snapped of a Walmart inventory label, the Motorola Droid X2 will cost as much as the HTC Incredible II without a contract: $600. That’s $30 more expensive than what you will pay for the Samsung Droid Charge at a $569.99 full retail price, but we’re talking dual-core here, and not just any, Verizon’s first.
The X2 sports a 4.3-inch qHD resolution screen, 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor, eight-megapixel camera, 512MB RAM, 8GB ROM, and is currently running Android 2.2 Froyo but will probably ship with 2.3 Gingerbread.
