We first heard of the 6.12.181 update for the Verizon Motorola Droid RAZR and Droid RAZR MAXX at the beginning of April but shortly after rumor had it the manufacturer was dropping the refresh in favor on a possible Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich soak test.
It seems that either the reports were faulty or Motorola changed its mind because the full changelog for the upcoming 6.12.181 refresh has been made public. It will be applicable to both the Droid RAZR and the RAZR MAXX and it will bring, as usual, bugfixes, improved battery life, accurate 4G indicator plus the rest which could be seen in the screenshot above. With the changelog out, expect an OTA roll-out in a week or so, while you are still patiently waiting for Ice Cream Sandwich.
