The Motorola Droid Pro comes in a form factor that many have been waiting for: it’s a front-facing candybar QWERTY Android 2.2 device with HVGA resolution on a 3.1″ display. Some internal Verizon screens are showing it as launching on 18 November, with a presale starting on 9 November. No word yet on how much it’ll cost, but $199 seems reasonable for this device that Verizon is saying will be in high demand.
Update: Both Engadget and Android Central have published leaked screenshots citing a $179.99 on-contract price after $100 mail-in rebate. Who said anything about $300? Engadget’s shot also shows the Droid 2 Global and Samsung Continuum coming in at $200 apiece, which seems just right for the former but a bit steep for the latter. (via: Android Police)
