The Motorola Droid 4 is definitely going to be crowned 2011′s most leaked and anticipated Smartphone that never got released in 2011. Now, let’s forget about all the spy shots for a minute because this time a real Demo unit was leaked and photographed extensively. Sadly, this is just a dummy unit, but it does include a lot of the details we’re looking for regarding looks and specs.
As for all the good specs, this device rocks:
- 1.2GHz dual-core processor
- 1GB of RAM
- 16GB of built-in storage
- microSD expansion
- 8-megapixel camera with 1080p video recording capabilities
- HD Front-facing camera for high quality video calls
- HDMI-out
- 1785 mAh battery
And for the bad late-to-the-game specs:
- Android 2.3
- 4-inch qHD screen
Remember this is pretty much a Droid RAZR with a hardware keyboard. Except for last year’s hardware and screen resolution, all the rest seems to be quite good. All we need now, is for Verizon to release the thing already!
