The third version of the phone that started the Droid revolution on Verizon, the Droid 3, is bound to start shipping soon as we’ve been seeing hints of the device in both Best Buy’s inventory, and also that of Verizon. The device is likely to ship with Android 2.3, a dual-core 1GHz TI CPU, and a qHD 960×540 4.0″ display. A handful of official-looking tutorials for the Droid 3 have surfaced. With it, we get confirmation of a couple features of the Droid 3 that were previously not known: 1080p video recording, and a separate number row in gray on the hardware keyboard.
