Motorola has just recently launched the Milestone 3 smartphone — aka the Motorola Droid 3 — in China and we’re looking forward to seeing the Droid refresh hit the U.S. market on July 7 according to rumors unconfirmed though.
While it is by no means a confirmation in any way of a launch date, it gives us a solid hint that the launch is ready. The Motorola Droid 3 has just earned its MAP status (minimum advertised price) over at Verizon, according to the screenshot above acquired by Droid-life. If rumors and indications turn out to be true, Big Red will have the Droid 3 in a little bit more than two weeks, sporting a dual-core processor, four-inch qHD resolution display, five-row slide-out QWERTY keyboard, eight-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and 1080p video recording capability, front facer for video calls and Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
