Today is a big day for Motorola Droid family leaks, with the Droid Pro earlier revealing a probable price and release date ($179.99 on November 18th) and now the Droid 2 Global showing up in print with a launch date of the 11th. According to the snippet of marketing material published by Engadget, the Droid 2 Global — a 1.2GHz world band upgrade to the Droid 2 — will actually launch in blue, and not black as we (somewhat foolishly) assumed from an alleged Costco screenshot; why we thought that BL stood for black and not blue, when the original Droid 2 is itself blue, is beyond us. The document makes no mention of the white version of this phone, so it’s unclear if that SKU is expected to launch simultaneously. The D2G is expected to sell for $200 on contract.
