It looks like there are now dummy units of the oft-rumored Motorola Droid 2 at Best Buy. Hopefully, a launch is imminent for those who are awaiting a slightly more compact version of the Motorola Droid X but with the Droid’s sliding keyboard.

The Droid 2 is rumored to ship with Android 2.2 Froyo out of the gate and is said to support the same widgets-based user interface found on the Droid X.
