Motorola just launched the Dinara this morning, but because it was shrouded as a China-only handset, no one really noticed. Well the dual-core, 720p, 13-megapixel XT928 is indeed coming to the US, we’ve learned, as the MB886 (and internationally as the XT885/XT920); like the MB860 Atrix and MB865 Atrix 2, Dinara is expected to land on AT&T, although possibly not as an exclusive.
This is the second time in recent memory that the company has quietly revealed the international version of a handset before launching the American variant: we saw the Droid 3 spoiled by the Milestone 3 only a few months back. However, with the RAZR having only recently begun shipping — itself upstaging the Bionic — it seems unlikely that Dinara will be announced in the US until at least CES.
Full specs on China’s Dinara can be found in the press release, linked below. Although the XT928 is a 3G device, expect Dinara to be loaded with LTE radios by the time it arrives stateside (regardless of carrier).
