The upcoming Motorola CLIQ 2, follow-up to the popular CLIQ model, might see a launch very soon as Walmart, one of the nation’s largest retailers, has got the smartphone listed up on its website.
As with the case of the Sprint EVO Shift 4G that was launched the second day after its Walmart appearance, the Motorola CLIQ 2 might see the light of day any time now, heading T-Mobile’s way. Also, Amazon seems to have a bunch of accessories tagged with CLIQ 2 which, together with the Walmart mention, could indicate the end of the waiting period for many out there.
Running Google’s Android mobile platform improved by the next generation of MOTOBLUR, the slide-out QWERTY device, also known as the Begonia, sports a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, aGPS, WiFi b/g/n as well as WiFi calling and 3G mobile hotspot support. We bet a Buffalo Nickel it will surface at the Consumer Electronics Show anytime now.
