The Motorola Atrix 4G is one of the most high-end smartphones on the market today. Unfortunately, as with most cutting edge devices, it came with some bugs.
Users have reported HSPA+ problems, short battery life, issues with audio quality, and even random reboots.
Motorola has taken note and released an update that fixes a variety of problems, and should help the phone live up to its expectations. The 4.1.57 software update is 17MB and Motorola recommends you download and install it while under a Wi-Fi umbrella.
What’s included in the patch?
+ Improved multimedia experience with Bluetooth devices as well as the ability to use phone with additional headsets
+ Improved fingerprint reader performance
+ Improved battery performance for longer battery life
+ Display will turn off automatically now while charging directly on wall charger
+ Improved stability resulting in fewer occurrences of touch unresponsiveness and/or programs quitting unexpectedly
+ Improved performance of car dock and 3.5mm jack
If you’re one of the lucky Atrix users out there make sure you let us know about your update experience and what you think about the patches!
