All hubbub about bootloaders aside, it looks like things are moving along smoothly for the upcoming Motorola Atrix 4G release, as the powerhouse of a smartphone has just gone through the paces over at the FCC.
Engadget spotted the phone in the FCC database, where the Atrix is playing things low-key, only identifiable via model number and specifications. Key features like its 802.11n WiFi (revealed by the associated microwave bands it operates on) point squarely at this being the Atrix 4G.
We last heard that the phone was on-tap for availability around March 1. While that supposed release date is a bit suspect, these FCC filings show that is definitely well on the way towards its release. Hopefully we’ll hear a bit more about Motorola’s and AT&T’s schedules for the devices during the upcoming Mobile World Congress.
