At the beginning of November we heard about the Motorola MT917, a device that closely (shamelessly) resembles the Motorola Droid RAZR. Now the phone-maker made the device official in China vis China Mobile.
Gorilla Glass and Kevlar are still in with the device that is 8.5mm thin. It packs a 4.5-inch screen with 720 x 1280 resolution, 13 megapixel camera, high-speed TD-SCDMA network compatibility, dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and Android 2.3 Gingerbread on-board. There’s also support for Motorola’s own webtop application. The MT917 is expected to land in China mid-December but no exact availability and pricing have been made public.

On the same note, Motorola also introduced the XT615 which we’ve recently seen. It’s 9.8mm thin and features a four-inch edge-to-edge screen (as described by the manufacturer) with 480 x 854 FWVGA resolution, 800MHz CPU, 1GB ROM, 512MB RAM, eight-megapixel camera with LED flash, VGA front-facer and Android Gingerbread 2.3 with Moto Switch UI 2.0. It will be available in China staring December for RMB2,999 (around $470).
