Motorola Mobility and T-Mobile have officially launched the Motorola CLIQ 2 smartphone, follow-up to the original CLIQ, just as we suspected, a little bit after Walmart had it listed on its website.
It sports a 1GHz processor, 3.7-inch WVGA display, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, WiFi b/g/n with calling support, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, 4G capable radio, DLNA capability, 5-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash, 2GB memory on supplied, card, 1420 mAh Lion battery and it is powered by Google Android 2.2 Froyo improved by Motorola’s own MOTOBLUR. The device comes preinstalled with Blockbuster On-Demand as well as Amazon’s Kindle application
As far as availability is concerned, the CLIQ 2 is a T-Mobile exclusive and it will hit January 19, just as the rumors suggested. Pricing has not yet been officially announced.
