The Motorola MOTOACTV is Motorola’s attempt at competing in the up and coming industry of smart workout devices that can track your progress wirelessly and even integrate with your phone or tablet. The ACTV runs on a heavily modified version of Android, and since we’re talking Android here, getting root access is only a few clicks away with the proper know-how. One such industrious individual has managed to root his ACTV, and has loaded on a full version of Android, complete with a third-party launcher, working Google Maps, and of course, Angry Birds. It’s pretty remarkable how well everything works given the paltry 600MHz CPU and diminutive 176×220 1.6″ display. With WiFi on board, imagine the possibilities when you have Android running on your wrist!
