We first showed you the LG Connect 4G last week, a dual-core Android destined for MetroPCS’s LTE network. We were expecting to see the phone’s formal announcement come with the arrival of the CES this week, and sure enough, MetroPCS has now taken the lid of the LG Connect 4G, revealing it alongside another LTE-equipped handset, the Samsung Galaxy Attain 4G.

As we shared with you last time we looked at the Connect 4G, which we later expect to migrate to Verizon and Sprint, the phone has a four-inch NOVA display and features a five-megapixel main camera with front-facer. We knew the handset would be dual-core, but didn’t have its clock speed to share with you earlier: it will run at 1.2GHz. MetroPCS didn’t provide the phone’s price, only that it will be available beginning within the next month.

The Samsung Galaxy Attain is a slightly lower-tier Android option than the LG Connect 4G. It steps-down to a single-core 1GHz processor, a three-megapixel main camera, and a smaller 3.5-inch display. At the least, it manages to hold onto its front-facing camera and 4G LTE connectivity. This time, MetroPCS has some more specific launch information to share, announcing availability of the Galaxy Attain for about $200 off-contract, after mail-in rebate.
