If you’re trying to decide between the selection of Windows Phone 7 launch devices, LG wants to help make your choice easier by offering 10 free apps to you. The catch is that you can only download apps that LG makes available through the LG Application sub-store found on LG Windows Phone 7 devices.

Ten free applications, across a variety of categories including social networking, utilities, and gaming, worth over $30, will be given away every 60 days, and will be available for a period of 60 days. The apps will be available through the LG Application Store, which will launch on LG Windows Phone 7 devices.

“This collaboration with LG creates a win-win situation for consumers and developers and will further showcase the variety of quality games and applications available on Windows Phone 7,” Brandon Watson, director for Windows Phone at Microsoft, said.

LG isn’t speaking to what specific titles will be available, so it’s tough to say whether this promotion is truly compelling.
