Not long ago we told you that the LG Revolution had been rooted, not only that, apparently it wasn’t even very hard. Unfortunately, the way LG put their bits together made writing a custom recovery image very difficult. Previous attempts had resulted in either bricked phones, or phones that would erase themselves every time they booted up.
Luckily for us, that hasn’t stopped the Android community and ClockworkMod Recovery, my favorite recovery image, has been ported to the Revolution — well, almost. It seems that there isn’t a way to get OUT of recovery mode for the time being, but we’re told that shouldn’t be a terribly large hurdle to get past.
