LG is always quick to bring smartphones to the market — just think Optimus 2x world’s first dual-core smartphone or Optimus 3D world’s first multi-channel or AR Browser — and we might see another world first as UAProf for a certain LG P930 has surfaced.
According to the information in the XML, the LG P930 will sport a 720×1280 (which is 720p) resolution as well as GPRS/EDGE and HSDPA/HSUPA support, while being powered by Google Android. The naming convention indicates a smartphone (the Optimus 2x was the P990) but the resolution is rather tablet specific (though the LG tablet is codenamed starting with letter V).
At this resolution LG could go as high as 4.5-inches and still match the iPhone 4‘s Retina display dpi value of 326. As said regarding the HTC Eternity rumor, the line between smartphones and tablets is becoming very thin (or maybe it’s our pockets that become smaller and smaller). One more thing: could this be the Nexus 3 for Google Android Ice Cream Sandwich?
