If up until now we had the Samsung Galaxy Note to raise eyebrows and questions regarding whether it is a phone or a tablet, LG made sure we have one more reason: the Optimus VU. Officially unveiled on February 19, we expect the five-incher to be the attraction of LG’s MWC booth alongside the other new devices (LG Optimus 3D Max, Optimus LTE Tag, Optimus L3, Optimus L5, and Optimus L7).
There’s no stylus included with the LG Optimus VU to take notes (though it would have been useful). However, note-taking seems relatively easy as shown in the video below which also features a more detailed look at the hardware itself. The LG Optimus VU is 8.5mm thick and packs a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, five-inch IPS screen with XGA resolution (768 x 1024 pixels), 1GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, eight-megapixel main camera, 1.3-megapixel webcam, 2,080mAh battery and Android 2.3 Gingerbread (with Ice Cream Sandwich coming shortly).
