Virgin Mobile USA has just announced the addition of the LG Optimus V, your typical LG Optimus One variant, enriching its line-up with a very popular Android smartphone that sold over 2 million units in less than two months of its launch.
The smartphone is available starting today at Radio Shack stores as well as online with Virgin Mobile going for $149.99. The device packs a modest 600MHz processor which scored fairly well in benchmarks, adding a 3.2-inch touch-screen display, 3G and Wi-Fi capable, a 3.2 MP camera and video. The Optimus V for Virgin Mobile joins the pack of operator variants together with Metro PCS Optimus M, US Cellular Optimus U, Sprint Optimus S, T-Mobile Optimus T, Verizon LG Vortex and the AT&T Optimus A.
