The uber popular budget Android smartphone from LG, the Optimus One, was breaking sales records at the end of last year which is pretty normal for a phone that exists, in a variant or the other, on almost all carriers around the States.
The newest one to join the carrier versions is rumored to be Cricket’s LG Optimus C which is basically your typical Optimus One. According to hear-say, the smartphone will hit on March 17 with the usual specs: 600MHz processor, 3.2 inch HVGA display, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.2-megapixel camera, microSD card support and will be powered by Google’s Android 2.2 Froyo mobile operating system. No further details are known as of yet but expect the price to be around the same as MetroPCS’ LG Optimus M, which is $199.99 before rebate.
