We’ve heard that Korean smartphone manufacturer LG was preparing an LG Optimus Big Android smartphone and today it was announced on the country’s LG U+ network.
The date of availability is April 28 but pre-orders are starting today until next Wednesday, April 27. The LG Optimus Big (aka LG-LU6800) is running Android 2.2 Froyo and sports a 4.3-inch NOVA display — the NOVA is also present on the Optimus Black with very high brightness levels — 1GHz dual-core CPU, 16GB memory, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and a five-megapixel camera with auto-focus, all powered by a 1,500mAh battery. Adding also an HDMI port, the LG Optimus big is available in two color flavors: white and black.
