LG announced the Optimus 3D on February 13, one day prior to this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona where we managed to take a look and have a quick hands-on with the Korean manufacturer’s first 3D phone.
The phone features a huge 4.3-inch WVGA glasses-free 3D display which means that it can play back three dimensional content without the need of additional hardware. Because of its dual stereoscopic five-megapixel camera at its back, it can also record and create its own 3D content. In this first video in our series we are unboxing the phone and looking forward to spending some time with the new thing called 3D on a phone.
