We were wondering about the price of the just released LG Optimus 2X Tegra2 dual-core Android smartphone and looks like we can have an approximate idea about how much it will cost. Right from the start, this might only be a placeholder or a special pre-order price but a Swedish Etailer has the device listed on its own dedicated page.
It goes for 4,999 Swedish kronors (roughly $731 or 555EU) without a subscription and 3,099 Swedish kronors (roughly $453 or 344EU) with a contract. Whether the webmaster is only playing a bit or any of these might indicate a price close to the official one is hard to tell but it’s the first price-tag we’ve seen related to the device. The LG Optimus 2X, aka the LG Star, sports a 1GHz Tegra2 processor, 4-inch WVGA screen, 8GB of internal memory expandable with up to 32GB using the microSD card slot, 8-megapixel rear camera with 1080p recording capability, 1.3-megapixel front camera for self-portrait and video calling, HDMI mirroring, all powered by a 1,500mAh battery. I’ll let you speculate on the price in the comments below!
