First tipped by its codename, the LG Cayman, Verizon’s upcoming LG Lucid gets its branding from a four-inch, WVGA NOVA display capable of 700 nits of brightness. This upper-mid-range, Gingerbread-powered handset is said to feature a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, LTE data connectivity, and eight gigabytes of internal storage. On-board cameras include a 1080p-capable five-megapixel rear shooter and front-facing VGA webcam. Going by model number VS840, the Lucid slots into VZW’s lineup between the VS700 Enlighten and VS920 Spectrum.
Look for Lucid to hit retail before the end of the month (Droid-Life says March 29th) for under $200.
Update: AndroidCentral chimes in with a few more specs, noting that the RAM is likely to be a full 1GB.
