There’s been a cornucopia of promises related to the Gingerbread update for the LG-made T-Mobile G2x, according to which it will arrive this summer. Users are patiently waiting for the release that will also fix some serious bugs with the smartphone in addition to updating its platform version to the latest Google Android Gingerbread.
Unfortunately, instead of the update, users are only getting promises of an update with information coming further down the pipe. The LG Girl has tweeted (and then LG themselves retweeted) that the Gingerbread update “is a huge focus” but there’s no more info shared, except the promise for “more info in the next few days”. They say “good things come to those who wait” so hang on, it will come eventually!
