We’ve seen this tablet mid-last month pop up at the FCC but this time the Lenovo IdeaTab S2109 becomes official, and it borrows its main measurements from the iPad; it packs a 9.7-inch display with a 4:3 aspect ratio.
It might not pack a super-duper Retina display-worthy resolution — it can only do 1024 x 768 — but it will be powered by a Texas Instruments OMAP processor and 1GB of RAM. A 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera is placed at the front, FM radio inside, and a micro HDMI plus a microSD card slot take care of your connection and expansion. Everything is packed in a 8.9mm thick unibody case and there are no less than four speakers for SRS Trumedia sound. On top of everything, there’s Ice Cream Sandwich which will go for ten hours on a single charge. How sweet is that?
