Lenovo To Update ThinkPad Tablet To Ice Cream Sandwich In May

Lenovo will be starting the ThinkPad tablet update process — to the latest Android 4.x Ice Cream Sandwich platform — in May, according to recent reports. This goes well with rumors we’ve previously heard of regarding the tablet, Ice Cream Sandwich, and Q2.

Expect to see an update notification for an over-the-air refresh on your ThinkPad tablet sometime in May. The roll-out process will span throughout the entire month and it will bring goodies like Face Unlock, an improved browser, voice input, a faster and more stable overall platform and user experience.
