Lenovo Launches LePhone S2, LePad S2005 Androids for China

With the occasion of its Beijing event, Lenovo has launched the LePhone S2 Android smartphone. It runs version 2.3.4 Gingerbread and packs a 1.4GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 processor, 3.8-inch WVGA screen, 512MB RAM / 8GB ROM or 1GB RAM / 16GB ROM, and an eight-megapixel camera. All is powered by a 1,500mAh battery.

The five-inch Android tablet-phone we’ve recently seen turned out to be none other than the LePad S2005, also just launched. It runs Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread and features a five-inch WVGA display, dual-core Qualcomm 1.2GHz CPU, 1GB if RAM, five-megapixel camera, 1.3 megapixel webcam and a 1,680mAh battery. There is no official information regarding pricing. The LePad S2005 will land on the Chinese market in a couple of days while the LePhone S2 should be arriving soon, with no exact info being made public.
