Leakster: Google Nexus Prime Global Launch With GSM And WiMAX
By Anton D. Nagy | September 19, 2011 6:05 AM
This weekend we learned from a leakster that the Google Nexus Prime will most probably land on Verizon on November 3. That same leakster has tweeted further information implying that the phone will see a global launch with both GSM and WiMAX support.
With “GSM or wimax radios inside”, the Google Nexus Prime, as it should be the case of a pure-Android phone, should work without a problem on carriers like AT&T or Sprint. Whether we’ll see a November 3 launch for the global model or only the Verizon variant is yet unknown though Samsung (and Google) would highly benefit of such a launch.
