If you’ve got an Android running Froyo (2.2), and are an avid Google Voice user like I am you were probably as excited as I was when we started seeing screenshots from the leaked T-Mobile G2 ROM. This ROM includes a set of new Google Voice Widgets, one to show your your Inbox, the other to toggle various settings. Both are 3×1 widgets, and both look polished and refined.
If you’d like to give this a try, you’ll need to be running Android 2.2, and you’ll need to replace your existing Google Voice app. The download link, while it’s still available, click here.

UPDATE: One of pour readers, mcalderon712, has given this a try and reports that he has gotten the new widgets to work on his Anrdoid 2.1 phone! So, if you’re not running Froyo, but you do have Android 2.x+, give it a shot!
