The initial version of Hulu Plus that made it to the Android Market only supported a select number of smartphones: Nexus One, Nexus S, HTC Inspire 4G, Motorola Droid II, Motorola Droid X, and the Motorola Atrix. The recently updated version adds four more devices to the list of working handsets, bringing the total to 10 supported phones.
As of the new version of Hulu Plus, you can enjoy on-demand video streaming on your HTC EVO 4G, HTC Thunderbolt, HTC myTouch 4G and G2. And, as with the original version, Hulu is committed to adding more and more devices to the list of compatible phones on which the app can “officially” run. If you’re not on the list, you can always wait or keep an eye out for the developers to crack open the app and add “unofficial” support.
